Holidays & Vacations
The Center will be closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Day After, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Due to fixed average costs, averaged over a calendar year, there is NO reduction in tuition for these holidays. When one of these Holidays fall on a weekend the Holiday will be taken on Friday or Monday. If you have a child that attends our after school program, there will be an additional charge of $10.00 per day that your child(ren) attend Cub Zone on a day that GISD is closed.
As of September 1, 2003 your child may be absent from the center two weeks per year with only half Tuition being due. This applies when your child’s account has been in good standing one full year. A written notice must be given two weeks in advance. If the absence lasts for more than two week, you must pay full Tuition to hold your child(rens) place.
